  SPORTS CLUBS

Sport Clubs

The sport clubs program at UB is under the management of the Undergraduate Student Association. It offers University at Buffalo students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community at large an alternative to intramural sports, physical education and intercollegiate athletics.

All clubs are self-administered by elected student officers and are somewhat self-supported by membership dues, fund-raising activities, donor contributions and sponsorships. It is the responsibility of students to coordinate activities, classes, practices, employment of a coach, competition schedules, tournaments, transportation, publicity and all other factors of a successful operation.

UB’s sport clubs range in size and structure offering a variety of opportunities to individuals looking to participate.  Clubs range from a handful of members, to several hundred and are continually growing and evolving.  Whether you are looking for a structured recreational activity, or to compete against Division I opponents, UB’s sport club program has a team for you.  Currently, UB offers the following sport clubs:

Recreation & Intramural Services recognizes the value of the sport club experience for students and encourages interest and participation.
