Spring 2010 Swimming Instruction
Seven forty minute swim lessons for ages four (4) through adult. Classes are designed through the American Red Cross Water Safety Learn to Swim program, levels 1-7. Instructors are American Red Cross Certified. State your swim ability or desired level of instruction on your application.
CLARK HALL - once per week

Supervised Swim While Parents Shop

Day & Time	Drop the kids off for open swim while parents shop for the holidays! 12/5, 12/12, 12/19, 12/28, 12/30 (9:00 AM-12:00 Noon at Clark Hall Pool or 1:00-4:00 PM at Alumni Arena Pool)
Fee	$12.00 per child per day

Lifeguard Training Available both Fall 2009 & Spring 2010
Take advantage of the opportunity to complete the Red Cross certification course in lifeguard training.  Course content and activities prepare lifeguard candidates to recognize emergencies, respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and prevent drowning and other incidents.  This course will certify eligible candidates in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training for pools only, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Standard First Aid and AED Training.  All candidates must be fifteen (15) years of age by course completion date.

Congratulations to Annie Szuis, one of our recreation patrons, age 89, for winning 4 gold medals in the Summer 2008 Empire State Games, for Master's Swimming!
Annie won gold medals for first place in the following events:
