University at Buffalo, Recreation & Intramurals Services

Recreation and Intramural Services offers a wide variety of programs for Students, Faculty, Staff and Alumni as well as the general community. You may register for classes by visiting Room 130 in Alumni Arena Monday through Friday, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 PM, and Saturday & Sunday, from 10:30 PM to 7:30 PM & Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM-10:30 PM, and Saturday & Sunday from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM at 113 Clark Hall. You may also register by mail. Instructional Program enrollment is limited to insure an appropriate student/teacher ratio.

Persons entering Alumni Arena or Clark Hall during established recreation hours, must present a proper ID card. Alumni and members of the community must purchase a UB Recreation Permit.

The Division of Athletics makes available all recreation facilities to the faculty/staff of the University with the exception of the Alumni Arena general fitness center. Faculty/staff members must present their UB ID card to gain access into the facilities.

The facilities are available during the following times:

Mondays - Fridays 6:00AM - 8:30AM and 12:00PM - 1:30PM

Any faculty/staff that would like to use the facilities outside the complimentary hours granted by the Division of Athletics would need to purchase a recreation permit.

Day Passes
Persons presenting picture ID may obtain a day pass ($5.00 each) in Room 130 Alumni Arena or the Recreation Office at Clark Hall. The person must present appropriate picture identification indicating that they are at least 18 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Passes may be purchased during recreation hours.

Alumni Arena Locker Rental Policy
Available to all students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the community. Unlimited towel service, lock and locker are provided. Service is provided through the Pro Shop/Equipment Room, Alumni Arena Ground Floor.
