Aerobics

University at Buffalo fitness classes are designed to challenge and stimulate the mind and body.
Break a sweat and gain the great benefits of working out such as weight loss, endurance, stress reduction, improved concentration and an enhanced immune system.
For any fitness level, age and gender; everyone is welcome to participate.
Instructors create a motivating workout with music and choreography.
Time to make a lifestyle change!

Summer registration policy permits participation in an unlimited number of aerobic and UBiking classes per week.  All classes are on a first come, first serve basis according to space and equipment availability. 
Aerobics

Many people ask: Why should I take the time to participate in aerobics classes? Maybe the question should be: Why not?

  • Each class is scheduled. You can plan when to workout and are less likely to "skip" the gym and workout.
  • Diversity! We offer a wide variety of classes ranging from pilates to high-intense interval classes.
  • People; there are other participants in each class, to help motivate and encourage you!
  • Instructors will help you workout at new levels. Do you really know your limit?
  • Exercise should not be a chore. Make working out fun!
  • Alumni Arena aerobics classes are held in the Dance Studio, 75 Alumni Arena.

    Clark Hall aerobics classes are held in the Dance Studio at Clark.

    Aerobic Fitness Policies:

    • Participants will not be admitted to class after warm-up has begun due to safety reasons
    • Aerobic permit must be presented at the beginning of class as proof of registration
    • Appropriate workout attire is required, including appropriate athletic shoes
    • Participants are encouraged to regularly monitor their own workout intensity and take water breaks frequently
    • There must be at least 2 participants present for aerobic and indoor cycling classes.

    Join the Aerobics/UBiking listserv and receive emails in case of changed or cancelled classes.
