Aerobics

UB fitness classes are designed to challenge and stimulate the mind and body.
Break a sweat, gain the great benefits of working out such as weight loss, endurance, stress reduction, improved concentration and an enhanced immune system.
For any fitness level, age and gender.
Instructors create motivating workouts with music and choreography.
Time to make a lifestyle change!

People ask: Why should I take the time to participate in aerobics classes? Maybe the question should be: Why not?

  • Each class is scheduled. You can plan when to workout and are less likely to "skip" the gym and workout.
  • Diversity! We offer a wide variety of classes ranging from pilates to high-intense interval classes.
  • People; Other participants will motivate and encourage you!
  • Instructors will help you workout at new levels. Do you really know your limit?
  • Exercise should not be a chore. Make working out fun!
  • Aerobic classes are held in the Dance Studio, 75 Alumni Arena and the Dance Studio at Clark Hall.

    Biking classes are held in room 144, Alumni Arena..

    Aerobics Policy:

    • Participants will not be admitted to class after warm-up has begun.
    • Aerobics permit must be presented at the beginning of each class.
    • Appropriate workout attire required.
    • Participants are encouraged to regularly monitor their own workout intensity and take water breaks frequently.
    • There must be at least 2 participants present for aerobics class.

    Join the Aerobics/UBiking listserv and receive emails in case of changed or cancelled classes.
