On Sunday morning, Rockman was bounced from the tournament but not without putting up a strong fight against sixth-seeded Mikhail Bekker of Pennsylvania, falling 6-2, 6-2. The top 32 players were seeded in the tournament with the remainder of the field unseeded. "Mike fought with him for a while," said assistant coach Nick Zieziula. "It was a good match."

Binghamton Match Added, Then Postponed; Cornell Invite Closes Fall Slate Earlier in the month, UB added a dual match against SUNY rival Binghamton for October 15. However, when the day arrived,
the match was forced to be postponed due to rainy conditions and the lack of adequate indoor courts. The teams will reschedule the
match for sometime during the spring season, although no date has been announced yet. The full UB squad closes out the fall season at
the Cornell Invitational, October 28-30.
