Bowling Green and Ball State Win on Day Two of MAC Men's Tennis Championship

Falcons and Cardinals advance to finals tomorrow

BUFFALO, NY - The Bowling Green Falcons and the Ball State Cardinals won their semifinal matches at the Mid-American Conference Men's Tennis Championship this afternoon, hosted by the University at Buffalo, to advance to tomorrow's final match.

The number-one seeded Falcons defeated the fourth-seeded Huskies, 4-2. The second-seeded Cardinals defeated the third-seeded Broncos in a close 4-3 match. Securing the victory was Ball State's Chris Varga, winning his second singles match, 7-5, 2-6, 6-2 over Ryan Maarschalk.

Tomorrow's final match is scheduled to be played at the UB Tennis Center and will begin at 1 pm. In the case of inclement weather, the match will be moved to the Village Glen Tennis and Fitness Club, beginning at 3 pm.
