Bulls Lose to Cardinals, 7-0

Buffalo falls to Ball State in men's tennis action

MUNCIE, IN - The University at Buffalo's men's tennis team fell to Ball State University on Saturday in Muncie, IN.

In singles competition, senior Fery Kasiman (Jarkarta, Indonesia/ESI International Academy) fell to Jason Pressel, 6-1, 7-6 (4). At second singles, Randy Rocchio (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville East) fell to Chris Varga, 6-1, 6-1. Freshman Nick Zieziula (Hamburg, NY/St. Francis) fell to Andrew Seni at third singles, 6-1, 7-6 (4). Justin Brtko (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville East) fell at fourth singles to Kevin Burnett, 6-3, 6-4. Sean Kelley (Gorham, NY/Marcus Whitman) fell to Matt Laramore at fifth singles, 6-1, 6-1. Rohan Raikar (Albany, NY/Albany) was defeated by Brad Rhodes at sixth singles, 6-3, 6-1.

In doubles competition, Brtko and Kasiman fell to Varga and Burnett at number one, 8-1. At second doubles, Rocchio and Zieziula fell to Rhodes and Klint Knable, 8-6. Josh Liederman (Queens, NY/Benjamin Cardozo) and Raikar fell to Seni and Laramore at third doubles, 8-0.

The Bulls will continue competition on April 25 when the host the Mid-American Conference Championships at the UB Tennis Complex.
