UB sophomore selected MAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
CLEVELAND, OH - University at Buffalo men's tennis player
Nick Zieziula (Hamburg, NY/St.
Francis) has been named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Week, the league has announced.

Zieziula, a sophomore and team co-captain on the Bulls' squad, earned the honor with his
3-1 singles record during UB's spring break trip to Florida. He has also added two more singles wins
since the Bulls returned north, including a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Western Michigan's
Erik Lindroos in UB's MAC opener on Tuesday.
For the 2002-03 season, Zieziula, who has spent much of the year at the numbers two, four
or five singles slots, has a 14-10 record in singles play. He has also partnered with
Randy Rocchio (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville
East) to form UB's top doubles combination and is 10-4 in dual meets
and 13-8 overall.
The Bulls open their home schedule Thursday morning at 10 am against MAC affiliate
member Indiana-Purdue-Ft. Wayne.
