Men's Tennis Weekly ReleaseClick here for a PDF version of the release Bulls Sweep Niagara, Swept by Binghamton The University at Buffalo men’s tennis team split their weekend matches against a pair of regional rivals by identical 7-0 scores. The Bulls (3-2) picked up a shutout win over Niagara at North Tonawanda’s Sportsplex on Friday night, but less than 24 hours later were the victims of a 7-0 shutout against America East power Binghamton as the teams squared off on neutral ground at Cornell’s Reis Tennis Center. Weekend Homestand Awaits The Bulls play their next three matches at home this weekend as they welcome a pair of regional opponents and open the Mid-American Conference schedule. The Bulls take on Duquesne on Friday at 5:00 pm. UB then opens league play with a contest against Chicago State, a league member for men’s tennis only, at 1:00 pm. The Bulls then conclude the weekend with an 11:00 am contest against Colgate. Last season, the Bulls fell to both Duquesne and Chicago State by 4-3 decisions and defeated Colgate, 5-2, as all three matches were played away from home.
