The University at Buffalo men’s tennis team lost a tough 4-3 decision to Cornell at the Reis Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon. The Bulls scored victories at the top three singles positions but were unable to pull out the team win.

Wynter comes to UB after having been ranked number two in Mexico among players 18-and-under and playing in three national finals. Wynter and doubles partner Alexis Lluis (Mexico City, Mexico/Colegio Americano de Tabasco) formed the number three combination for the Bulls while Wynter made his singles debut in the number five slot.

Niagara, St. Bonaventure Come to Town

The Bulls open their home schedule on Friday, February 8 with a 5:00 pm match against Niagara at the newly-renovated Village Glen Tennis Center. UB then faces another regional rival, St. Bonaventure, on Sunday, February 10 at 11:00 am, also at the Village Glen. The Bulls hold a 93-3-1 all-time mark against the Purple Eagles.
