Rocchio And Zieziula Advance To Quarterfinals Of Milwaukee Classic

Freshmen Pair Will Resume Play On Saturday, January 11 at 10 a.m.

Randy Rocchio (East Amerst, NY/Williamsville East) and Nick Zieziula (Hamburg, NY/St. Francis) of the University at Buffalo men's tennis team have advanced to the Doubles Quarterfinals of the prestigious 2002 Milwaukee Tennis Classic by beating a team from Old Dominion in the first round and a team from West Virginia in the second round. The freshmen pair, competing unattached, will resume play at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 11.

The Milwaukee Tennis Classic Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of tennis among youth. The Milwaukee Tennis Classic is the largest and longest-running tennis tournament featuring collegiate tennis players in the United States. Since 1984, the Foundation has proudly awarded scholarships to Milwaukee Public School seniors.

Both Rocchio and Zieziula finished the fall season with a 7-2 individual record while the team completed the fall season with a 3-0 record. Buffalo will return to action on February 9-10 at the Cornell Duals Invitational.
