2006-07: Posted season-best times in the 200 individual medley (2:00.41) and 200 butterfly (1:57.24) at the MAC Championships. Finished 15th in the 200 butterfly (1:59.28) and 15th in the 400 individual medley (4:19.93) at the meet.

2005-06: Finished 14th in the 200 butterfly (1:57.88) and 15th in the 400 individual medley (4:17.41) at the MAC Championships. Anchored UB’s 400 medley relay (3:35.01) to a seventh-place finish at the ECAC Championships.

2004-05: Selected as the team’s Top Newcomer. Scored consolation points with 14th-place finishes in the 200 butterfly (2:00.02) and 400 IM (4:23.72) at the MAC Championships. Posted lifetime-bests at the MAC meet in the 200 butterfly final and 400 IM preliminaries (4:21.79). Also placed 19th in the 200 IM (2:01.79) at the meet.

High School Earned seven letters and captained two seasons under coach Eric Ingerick at Greece-Athena High School. A state qualifier in every event that he entered in 2004 season. Two-time first-team All-County. Captained the cross country team for two seasons. Part of the Greater Rochester Racing Raiders club team for three years.

Personal: Born December 6, 1985. Son of Dan and Cheryl Hurt. Has two brothers (Jeff, Steve). Brother Jeff was a four-year member and team captain for the Bulls (2002-06). Enjoys fishing. Favorite movie is Fight Club. Majoring in industrial engineering and business management.
