Stimson, Tatum Named to MAC Honor RollBUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo seniors Eric Stimson (North Tonawanda, NY) and Dexter Tatum (Gainesville, GA) earned recognition on the Mid-American Conference's 2001 Men's Swimming Honor Roll, it was announced by the league office. Student-athletes must obtain a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher and earn a letter for the current season to be eligible for the honor. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible as student-athletes must have attended that institution for an entire year. Stimson, a backstroke and individual medley specialist, earned a 3.216 GPA as a Physical Therapy major while Tatum, a butterflier, compiled a 3.085 mark in Sociology. The Bulls, under head coach Budd Termin, completed their season with a 2-8 dual meet record and were 0-7 in Mid-American Conference meets. UB placed seventh at the MAC Championships in Oxford, OH and eighth in a 32-team field at the ECAC Championships in Sewell, NJ. |
