UB's 800 freestyle relay team of Jon Yarger (Centre Hill, PA/Penns Valley), Lizauckas, Alan Lowe (Brownsville, TX/Hanna) and Kevin Kotowski (Wilmington, DE/Salesianum) reached the championship finals placing eighth in a season-best 7:06.85 to pick up 22 points in the team scoring and enabling the Bulls to crack the 100-point plateau in the meet. The 200 medley relay team of Yarger, Geoff Wells (Waterville, OH/Anthony Wayne), Lowe and Oren took 13th in its race with a 1:38.33 clocking.

Head coach Budd Termin was enthused about his young squad reaching the finals in their events. "All the kids are getting back to the consolations or championships and tomorrow we have our best events coming up," said Termin.
