BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's swim team dropped a 146-80 decision to defending Mid-American Conference champion Eastern Michigan Friday afternoon at UB's Alumni Arena Natatorium. The Bulls are now 3-3 overall and complete their league slate with a 1-3 record while the Eagles move to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in MAC action.

UB sophomore Luke Adams (Quinnesec, MI/Kingsford) scored a first-place finish for the Bulls winning the 200-yard backstroke in 1:56.47 to lead the team on Friday afternoon.

Also picking up first-place points for the Bulls was senior Jon Yarger (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) with his finish in the 500-yard freestyle. Yarger completed the course in 4:48.53.

UB also earned first-place points in the 400-yard feestyle relay with Yarger, Kurt Bessel (Mexico, NY/Mexico Academy), Aaron Moessinger (Elma, NY/Iroquois) and Dustin Hui (Gardner, MA/Gardner) touching the wall in a season-best 2:58.46.

The Bulls host St. Bonaventure on Saturday, Feb. 5 in their next action. The meet is the final event on UB's regular season schedule.
