Swimmers Post Season Bests
Meanwhile, a pair of UB freshmen also posted season-best marks in winning their races. Freestyler Brandon Beckinghausen (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville North) won the 1,000-yard event in a season-best 10:18.93, eight seconds better than his previous mark. Sterling Gell (Lansing, NY/Lansing) also scored a season-best with his win in the 100-yard backstroke in 58.27, more than a second better than the 59.46 he had previously set. Back to the MACs The Bulls return to Mid-American Conference competition this weekend. On Friday, the UB women travel to Akron to face the Zips at 5:00 pm. The men host MAC rival Miami (OH) on Saturday, January 26 at 1:00 pm at the Alumni Arena Natatorium. |
