"Dan brings to the Bulls the experience, leadership and emotional maturity that are needed for tight matches. The Bulls will rely on him to bring his infectious, winning attitude to the table. Daniel demands the best performance from himself at training and in matches. The Bulls and the young players will benefit greatly from his technical aggressiveness on offense. His main task on the field will be to press defenses into immediate action and allow other players to attack zones that will be created by his movement. Dan has an accurate shot and his creativity, spontaneity and unpredictable movement with the ball puts opposing defenses in danger. Off the field, Stevens will be selected to lead the Bulls stewardship." - John Astudillo

Junior (2006): Saw time in all 19 matches for the Bulls, starting 17...led the team and tied for the conference lead with seven assists on the season...earned the team s Top Newcomer Award &named to the All-MAC Second Team...named to the 2006 WVU Shootout All-Tournament Team (8/27)...Registered an assist against Canisius (9/17)...picked up an assist vs. Siena (9/24)...had an assist on the game-winning goal against IPFW (9/29)...scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over MAC rival Bowling Green (10/6)...was a member of the MAC All-Tournament team.

Previous School: Appeared in 36 contests in a two-year span for Oneonta State, starting in 20... netted two goals, three assists and logged 33 shots in his Red Dragon career.

High School: Led New York State Section III in scoring as a senior at Liverpool High School under head coach Bob Escobar... earned All-CNY and All-Section honors over the span of four years on the varsity squad... compiled three indoor national championships, one outdoor regional championship, and a semifinal appearence at the Nike Cup while playing for his club team, Syracuse Blitz FC.

Personal: Born October 4, 1985... parents are Rob and Dari Stevens... has two brothers, Nate and Scott... favorite movie is Friday... favorite magazine is 4-2-2... toughest opponent ever faced was FC Guadalajara, who won 2-0... greatest athletic experience was winning the PDL National Championships over the 2005 summer... major is undecided.
