"Dave Chojnowski enters his final campaign as a Bull with great individual expectations. He has demonstrated that he can perform at a high level and become one of the MAC s top backs. He has worked very hard on his offensive game and can pose problems for defenses late in games. This upcoming campaign will present Chojnowski an opportunity to shine and succeed as a defensive or marking back on this Bull squad. He has the neccessary talent, as well as the experience, to become one of the best defenders in the MAC, if he shows great individual and team cohesion. He will also see some time this season at a fresh position - center of the park." - John Astudillo

Junior (2006): Started 18 matches during his junior campaign...earned All-Tournament honors at the 2006 WVU Shootout (8/27)...recorded the first point of his career, an assist, in a 3-0 MAC Quarterfinal victory over IPFW (10/31).

Sophomore (2005): Started and played in 18 games in the backfield for the Bulls... was part of a flatback who allowed only 12 goals and pitched 10 shutouts in the seasonŠhelped catapult UB into the Division-I rankings by placing eighth in shots on goal save percentage (0.842) and 12th in shutout percentage (0.53 shutouts per game).

Freshman (2004): Appeared in 17 games, while starting in five... was a key member of the Buffalo defense.

Previous College: Spent the 2003 season as a redshirt at Syracuse.

High School: A three-year letterwinner for head coach Paul Davis at Hilton High School... tallied six goals and four assists as a senior... named first-team All-Monroe County as a junior and a senior... named to the All-Sectional First Team as a senior.

Personal: Born March 30, 1985... parents are Steven and Joanne Chojnowski... has a brother, Michael... favorite movie is Gladiator... favorite athlete is Carmelo Anthony... greatest athletic experience was winning the Under-17 State Cup for the Rochester Futbol Club... dream as a college athlete is to earn All-America honors... majoring in sociology...
