Bulls Success Continues in Virginia
The Bulls success continued this weekend on the road at the Virginia Military Institute Tournament in Lexington, VA. The Bulls outlasted Bucknell in the first game, 3-2. Tim Songer's goal with ten minutes remaining proved to be the game-winner to advance the Bulls into the championship game. On Sunday the Bulls took on the Hilltopers of Western Kentucky for the Tournament title. A three goal surge by the Bulls in the second half lifted the Bulls to a 4-1 victory and the championship. Steve Butcher had two goals while brother senior midfielder Frank Butcher (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) and Songer added one apiece.
The Bulls travel to Morgantown, VA this weekend (9/12-13) for the West Virginia Tournament.
