Seven Bulls Named to MAC Academic Honor Roll
BUFFALO, NY - Seven members of the University at Buffalo men's soccer team were named to the 2000 Mid-American Conference Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office following the conclusion of the season.
Seniors Brian McCallion (Ballston Spa, NY/Shenendehowa), Jay Page (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport), Jarek Radzinski (Jnowroclaw, Poland/Bishop Marroco) and Tim Songer (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool), juniors Bill Norberg (Allison Park, PA/Shaler) and Kevin Pitra (Solon, OH/Solon) and sophomore Geoff Thompson (Clarence, NY/Clarence) all received recognition for obtaining a grade point average of 3.00 or higher. To be named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have also attended their institution for an entire year and must have earned a letter during the current season.
The UB men's soccer team finished the 2000 season with a 6-10-2 overall record. The Bulls posted a 2.85 team grade point average for the 2000 Fall semester.
