Men's Soccer Falls to Wright StateDAYTON, OH - The University at Buffalo men's soccer team lost a 3-0 game at Wright State on Sunday afternoon. The game concluded the Bulls' regular season schedule as UB will now host the Mid-American Conference Tournament next weekend. Wright State wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, netting their first goal at the 1:25 mark on a shot by Ricky Strong for a 1-0 lead. WSU would add to that lead later in the half as Travis Soberg would score at the 23:09 mark for a 2-0 halftime lead. Wright State finished off the scoring in the 79th minute as Evan Shrewsbury would score for the 3-0 win. UB managed just six shots in the game while Wright State recorded 22 shots and had ten corner kicks to the Bulls' one. UB goalkeeper Brian Wozniak (Canton, MI/Plymouth Salem) recorded 11 saves on the day, his second highest single-game total this season. The Bulls fall to 5-9-2 on the season and were shutout for the sixth time this year. Buffalo will next host the Mid-American Conference Tournament beginning on Friday, November 3. UB will likely be the sixth seed in this tournament with final conference standings and seedings to be released on Monday.
