Men's Soccer Falls To KentuckyLEXINGTON, KY - The University at Buffalo men's soccer suffered a 2-0 road loss to the Kentucky Wildcats on Friday evening. The Bulls were unable to rebound from a first half in which they allowed a pair of goals. Riley O'Neill put the Wildcats ahead in the eighth minute with his sixth goal of the season. Then in the 24th minute, Thomas Senecal headed in a free kick to give Kentucky a 2-0 lead.
Senior goalkeeper Chris Vavrina (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) made three saves on the night for UB. Buffalo - which concludes its regular season on Sunday afternoon at Northern Illinois - falls to
0-5-0 within the Mid-American Conference and 1-10-3 overall. UB has been shutout five straight
games, having last scored on September
