Bulls Soccer To Be Broadcast On WLVL
BUFFALO, NY - For the second straight season, the University at Buffalo has announced that its men's soccer game against Western Michigan on Friday, October 13 at 5 pm and the women's soccer game against Bowling Green on Sunday, October 15 at 1:00 pm will be broadcast on WLVL 1340 AM, as part of UB's expanded radio broadcast schedule.
Brendan McDaniels, who does pre- and post-game reporting for the UB football team, will call the play-by-play and Jason Bigham will provide color commentary from UB Stadium. In addition, the men's game will also be broadcast on UB's student-run internet radio station, WRUB. The broadcast can be found at http://www.wrub.buffalo.edu/
The two soccer matches are part of an expanded radio broadcast schedule the Bulls have announced for the 2006-07 season, which includes live broadcasts of all women’s basketball games on WLVL - both home and away. WLVL will also be the home for up to eight broadcasts of other UB athletic events throughout the year. Those events will be announced at a later date.
For fans not in the Buffalo area, all matches are available free of charge on Teamline, which can be accessed from the UB men's and women's soccer main page.
