Men's Soccer Falls at MarshallBUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's soccer team dropped their second-straight Mid-American Conference game, losing 3-0 at Marshall. It was a scoreless first half and both teams battled most of the second half without socring as neither team could find the net. The Thundering Herd got going late in the second half, netting three goals in the final 17 minutes and keeping the Bulls to just two shots in the half. Brent Sobczak scored the first Marshall goal in the 74th minute off an assist from Jeremy Albrecht. Two minutes later, Albrecht again served a pass, this time to Chris Donovan, that resulted in the second Marshall goal and a 2-0 lead. The Thundering Herd added the third goal on a penalty kick by Dennis Aheewa in the 86th minute for the 3-0 final. Marshall outshot UB 14-4 on the game and had seven corner kicks to UB's four. UB goalie Brian Wozniak (Canton, MI/Plymouth Salem) recorded five saves on the night for the Bulls. Buffalo falls to 3-4-1 overall and 0-2-0 in the MAC while Marshall improves to 8-2-0 overall and 2-1-0 in the MAC.
