Buffalo captured their 300th all-time victory on Friday as they defeated Robert Morris, 2-0. In the 37th minute, the Bulls lost a key element of their defense off a red-card infraction, forcing them to play a man down in the remaining 53 minutes. Lucas Bassan broke the game open with the Bulls’ first tally in the 83rd minute off a pass by senior Dan Bulley. As the ball bounced between players, Bulley sent a touch pass to the middle of the 18-yard box to Bassan. Rolling from left to right, Bassan fired a hard shot to the left post for the Bulls’ 1-0 lead.
Fetterman recorded his fourth shutout of the season, registering three saves in 90 minutes of action. Bulls Fall to Duquesne 5-0 On Sunday, the Bulls concluded their two-game road trip by falling to Duquesne, 5-0 at Rooney Field. Entering the contest at the start of the second half, freshman goalkeeper Ryan Lewis recorded a save in his career debut. Up Next: Big Four Rivals St. Bonaventure and Niagara The Bulls (4-4, 0-1 MAC) will continue on the road as they face Big Four rival St. Bonaventure (2-4, 0-0 Atlantic-10) at McGraw-Jennings Field on Wednesday, September 30 at 4:00 pm. The Bulls are currently on a four-game win streak versus the Bonnies, which started back in 2005. In their 30 all-time matchups, the Bulls hold an all-time record of 19-8-3 versus the Bonnies, outscoring them 63-36. Following the Bulls’ contest versus the Bonnies, they will return home to face Niagara (2-4-1, 0-0 MAAC) on Friday, October 2 at 7:30 pm. Holding a 20-12-5 all-time record versus the Purple Eagles, the Bulls have outscored them 91-51 in their 37 all-time matchups.
