Despite outshooting the Red Dragons 13-7, the Bulls could not find the back of the net as Oneonta goalkeeper Timothy Melia earned the shutout while making one save. Buffalo was kept in the the game by sophomore goalkeeper Brandon Foley (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) who made two saves in his first start of the season.

The Bulls had their chances in the game, especially in the second half where they took nine shots. In the 48th minute of play, off a Bulls' corner kick, Andrew Butler (Yorkshire, England/Mirfield) took a header that went just wide of the goal. In the 58th minute Erik Jaanimagi (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) shot a bullet that Melia was able to get his hands on for his one save. The Bulls' best chance may have come in the 74th minute when Cheick Diarra (Hillsborough,NY/John Bartram) had a clear shot at the goal, but shot wide.

The Bulls would get more scoring opportunities in the first overtime, but they would not be able to score a goal. Finally, in the second overtime, Quest was able to score the first and only goal of the game.

The loss drops the Bulls to 6-2-1 on the season, while Oneonta improves to 4-4-0 on the year. The Bulls will begin Mid-American Conference play on Friday when they travel to Akron for a 7:00 pm start.
