WEST POINT, NY - In its opening contest at the Army Classic, the University at Buffalo men's soccer team tied the host Army Black Knights, 1-1. Freshman Andrae Clarke (Kingston, Jamaica/Dewitt Clinton) scored his team-high third goal of the season, while Bulls' freshman goalkeeper Brandon Foley (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) made five saves and allowed only one goal in 110 minutes of action.

Army's Todd Severson put the Black Knights up early with a goal in the eighth minute, but Clarke evened the score midway through the first half. Mirnes Biscevic (Syracuse, NY/Nottingham) earned an assist on the goal, setting up Clarke with a corner kick.

Buffalo - which recorded 15 shots - was led by Patrick Beckley (Poughquag, NY/Arlington) with four.

The Bulls - who are now 1-3-3, having tied three straight games - will next face Navy on Sunday at 1 pm in their second and final contest at the Army Classic.
