BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's soccer team moved up one spot in the rankings this week and is now fifth in the New York region, according to the NSCAA/adidas regional rankings released Tuesday.

The Bulls, who began the season ranked sixth, are 4-0-0 and are one of only 15 unbeaten teams left in the nation after four straight home victories. They won the UB Fall Classic with victories against Valparaiso and Cleveland State Labor Day Weekend and finished off Niagara and Siena last week, allowing only one goal in those two games.

Buffalo is led offensively by sophomore Lee Catchpole (Norwich, England/Bungay) with three goals and three assists this season. Senior Greg Galemore (Long Valley, NJ/West Morris) and sophomore Shyle Braithwaite (Brampton, Ontario/Philip Pocock Catholic) round out the team leaders with three goals and one assist each. Junior Dan Bell (Brampton, Ontario/Notre Dame) has pitched two shutouts and posts a 0.75 GAA.

The team travels to St. Bonaventure Wednesday at 4pm, and culminates the week with a visit to Statesboro, GA for the Georgia Southern Tournament on Sept. 17-18.
