BUFFALO, NY - For the second time in three weeks, the University at Buffalo men's soccer team received accolades from the Mid-American Conference , as senior forward Andrae Clarke (Kingston, Jamaica/DeWitt Clinton) was named as the conference's Player of The Week Tuesday morning. Clarke is the second Bull to be honored for exceptional play on the pitch this season.

Clarke led the Bulls this past Sunday afternoon with a massive offensive assault, becoming the first UB men's baller since 1998 to score a hat trick in Buffalo's 5-1 demolition of regionally-ranked Valparaiso. His elite performance helped boost the Bulls to the win, thus ending a three-game winless streak. He also joined the national ranks, being the third player in the nation to score the trifecta this season. Clarke is now tied for first in the Mid-American Conference in goals with three, and third in points with six.

Clarke and the Bulls next travel to Ithaca, NY to take on Cornell on Wednesday at 7 pm., before returning to UB Stadium Friday to face off against St. Bonaventure in a doubleheader with the women's soccer team starting at 4 pm. The men's game will be broadcasted on UB's student-run internet radio station, WRUB, and can be found at .
