Bulls End Season with Loss at Colgate


In their final regular season game the Bulls were defeated by the Red Raiders of Colgate, 6-1. Sophomore Steve Butcher (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) registered Buffalo's only goal of the game at the 17:20 mark when he on a give-and-go from freshman midfielder John Shannon (Clifton, NY/Shenendehowa).

Tristan Burton (Rochester, NY/McQuaid Jesuit), Butcher and Brian McCallion (Ballston Spa, NY/Shenendehowa) were named to the Mid-Con First Team All-Conference squad while Chris Barletta (Wading River, NY/Shoreham-Wading River), Brian Cruickshank (Babylon, NY/St John the Baptist), Doug Geller (Dix Hills, NY/Half Hollow Hills East) and Tim Merrick (Clinton, Md/Surrattsville) were second-team selections. Butcher was also voted the Conference's Newcomer of the Year after scoring a Mid-Con regular-season high 34 points in his first season with the Bulls.
