Matt Stuczynski is entering his fourth year on the coaching staff and his first as a volunteer coach. Stuczynski played four years under head coach John Astudillo at UB, playing an integral role in the team's defensive backfield. Having graduated from Buffalo in May 2006, Stuczynski will be working primarily with the defense with intentions of continuing to enforce the work ethic carried over from his four years on the team.

As a player, Stuczynski played in 46 games, starting in 36 of them and was a key contributor in the Bulls' "iron curtain" backfield, serving as a tri-captain and leading the Bulls to a school season-best 14-3-2 in 2005 and contributing to nine shutouts. In addition to his outstanding career as a Bull, Stuczynski has also played in the Empire State Games on three occasions.

Outside of UB, Stuczynski is director of marketing of Raise Your Level, LLC., a company founded and managed by Buffalo Associate Head Coach David Hesch. He is also the Director of Player Development for Blackwatch WNY.

A native of Erie, PA, Stuczynski attended Cathedral Prep, leading the Ramblers to a 41-3-1 record in his junior and senior seasons and a state championship his senior year. He was named first-team All-Metro and first-team All-State.

Stuczynski currently resides in Amherst, NY, where he is completing his master's degree in Higher Education at the University at Buffalo.
