2006-07: Appeared in only two games before missing the remainder of the season with an injury... grabbed a rebound at Evansville (11/19).

2005-06: Appeared in 15 games and started twice... missed the final six games of the season with a knee injury... averaged 2.1 points and 0.7 rebounds per game... connected on 8-of-9 free throw attempts on the season... scored a season-high 10 points against both Central Michigan (2/11) and Miami (OH) (2/4)... was 2-for-2 from behind the arc against Central Michigan... had a season-best three assists against Kent State (2/15).

High School: Earned four letters for head coach Tom Hansen at McDowell High School... is the school’s all-time leading scorer (1,426 points) and holds the school record for career three-pointers... averaged 17.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 2.1 steals per game as a senior... a three-time All-Metro First Team selection... named first-team Region 6 as a senior... helped lead the Trojans to three 20-plus win seasons and two PIAA AAAA District 10 titles... named to the National Honor Society... named to Who’s Who Among High School Student-Athletes.

Personal: Born July 22, 1986... parents are Mike and Cindy Smiley... has a sister, Kristen... favorite movie is White Men Can’t Jump... also enjoys playing tennis...chose UB for its great basketball, good people and strong school... a picture of one of his dunks was featured in an issue of Sports Illustrated... admires Michael Jordan because of his work ethic, determination and competitiveness.
