2006-07: Played in 15 games... averaged 2.3 points and 1.5 rebounds per game... appeared in only eight of the first 23 games of the season and had a total of two points and six rebounds... played in the final five games of the regular season and averaged 6.4 points and 3.2 rebounds... had career highs of 10 points, five rebounds and three assists against Detroit in the Bracket Buster... had seven points at Kent State (2/21)... had nine points and four rebounds in 17 minutes against Ohio (3/4).

2005-06: Appeared in 17 games and started six... averaged 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds per game... made the first start of his career against Western Michigan (1/14) and responded by scoring a career-high nine points and added two rebounds in 11 minutes... had eight points and two rebounds at Iona (2/18)... had four points and two rebounds in 11 minutes at Central Michigan (2/11)... had a pair of blocked shots against Ball State (1/18).

2004-05: Appeared in two games and played a total of four minutes... played three minutes and shot 0-for-1 from the floor against Eastern Michigan (1/29)... played one minute against Marshall (1/27).

2003-04: Sat out the season as a medical redshirt.

High School: An athletic forward who was also an All-American volleyball player at Upper St. Clair... played for head coach Dan Holzer... averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks per game as a senior... named to the Pennsylvania All-Star team... his team combined to go 51-5 over his junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Born June 18, 1985... parents are Ed and Mary Ann Atman... has two brothers, Erik and Danny, and a sister, Emily... favorite athlete is Dirk Nowitzki... favorite television show is The West Wing... chose UB because of the academics and the team’s potential... greatest athletic experience was winning the high school volleyball national championship... was recruited by Penn State and Hawaii to play volleyball.
