UB-Canisius Men's Basketball Makeup Date Set for February 6

Bulls and Golden Griffins Set Date for Snowed-Out Game

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's basketball team will play a makeup game at Canisius on Tuesday, February 6 at 7pm. The game was originally scheduled for November 20 but was cancelled due to weather conditions in Buffalo that day that saw in excess of two feet of snow in some areas. The game will be played at the Koessler Center on the Canisius campus as originally scheduled.

For the Bulls, that game will take place before a long Mid-American Conference homestand. Buffalo plays at MAC foe Akron on February 3 before returning to the city of Buffalo for five-straight games. The first of those five will be the game at Canisius, followed by four-straight home games at UB's Alumni Arena. Buffalo will host Bowling Green on February 10 as part of a doubleheader with the women's team, Eastern Michigan on February 12, Ball State on February 14 and Toledo on February 19.

Earlier this year, UB and Canisius met at UB's Alumni Arena, with the Golden Griffins pulling out an 80-78 overtime win. Hodari Mallory for Canisius tipped in a missed shot with 0.6 seconds left for the win. Clive Bentick and Darren Fenn each had 22 points for the Golden Griffins while UB was led by Louis Campbell (Rahway, NJ/Rahway) with a game-high 23 points and 11 rebounds and Jason Robinson (Seattle, WA/Curtis) who had career highs with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
