"Must See UB" Set for Friday, October 14

Volleyball at 6 p.m. followed by "Prime-time Basketball" at 8 p.m.
BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo basketball fans can get their first glimpse of the 2005-2006 men’s and women’s basketball teams on Friday, October 14th when the Division of Athletics hosts an evening of “Must See UB." The night begins at 6 p.m. when the UB women’s volleyball team hosts Mid-American Conference-rival Ohio.

“Prime-time Basketball” will tip-off at 8 p.m. with team introductions, drills and a Blue-White scrimmage. The first 1,000 UB students will receive a hat courtesy of the UB Alumni Association and the first 500 students will receive free ice cream. There will be prizes and giveaways throughout the night, along with performances by the pep band, cheerleaders and dance team.

Doors open at 5 p.m. for the volleyball match - tickets for volleyball are $4.00. UB students are admitted free with their UB ID.
