Brown Earns Kudos From College Insider.ComBUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo junior forward Robert Brown (Oak Park, MI/Oak Park), who led the Bulls in both scoring and rebounding this season, was among some great company as he was named to the College Insider.Com All-JUCO Team.
The 6-4 forward posted three double-doubles on the season and scored in double figures in 24 of Buffalo's 29 games. In addition, Brown was named to the South Florida Classic All-Tournament Team and had a career-best 16 rebounds and 21 points in a win over Eastern Michigan. His season-high was 25 points versus Niagara in his very first game as a Bull. Brown came to Buffalo after being named an NJCAA honorable mention All-American at Schoolcraft for coach Carlos Briggs. In his final season at Schoolcraft he ranked ninth in the nation in rebounds per game (11.2) and third in the country in field goal percentage (65.5%) while averaging 18.0 points per game.
