Idbihi Earns All-Conference Honors
Idbihi is having the best season of his career, averaging team highs of 16.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. He leads the MAC in rebounding and ranks third in scoring. His numbers have been even more impressive in conference play as he is averaging 17.6 points and 10.1 rebounds against MAC foes. For his career, Idbihi is UB’s fourth all-time leading scorer with 1,509 points and third all-time leading rebounder with 842 boards. He became the first player in school history to score 1,500 points and pull down 800 rebounds. This is the second post-season award the Bulls’ big man has earned as he was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division I All-District Second Team last week. Idbihi will lead the 10th-seeded Bulls into Cleveland to face the seventh-seeded Chippewas of Central Michigan in the first round of the First Energy Mid-American Conference Tournament on Wednesday at Quicken Loans Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 pm. |
