BUFFALO, NY - For the second time this season, Yassin Idbihi (Tangier, Morocco/Schloss Hagerhof) has been named the Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week. The senior forward, who also received the honor back on December 4, averaged 20.5 points and 10 rebounds on the week.

Idbihi scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against Akron on Thursday night. He also added an assist and a pair of blocks against the Zips.

With 18 points and 10 rebounds in UB's win over Ohio on Sunday, Idbihi notched his league-leading 13th double-double of the season and fourth in the last six games.

Idbihi leads the Bulls in scoring and rebounding on the season, averaging 16.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. He leads the Mid-American Conference in rebounding and ranks third in scoring.

This is the fourth time that Idbihi has won the award in his career.

Idbihi will lead the 10th-seeded Bulls into Cleveland to face the seventh-seeded Chippewas of Central Michigan in the first round of the First Energy Mid-American Conference Tournament on Wednesday at Quicken Loans Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 pm.
