KANSAS CITY, KS - Yassin Idbihi (Tangier, Morocco/Schloss Hagerhof) has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division I All-District Second Team. He is one of 150 student-athletes, from 15 districts, now eligible for the NABC Division I All-American Team to be announced at the conclusion of the 2006-07 season.

Idbihi leads the Bulls and ranks third in the Mid-American Conference in scoring, averaging 15.8 points per game. He also leads the MAC in rebounding, averaging 9.6 rebounds per game. The senior forward is currently Buffalo's fourth all-time leading scorer (1,468) and third all-time leading rebounder (822) and is 32 points shy of becoming the first player in school history to score 1,500 points and grab 800 rebounds.

Idbihi's selection marks the third straight year that a University at Buffalo men's basketball player has earned NABC All-District honors. Turner Battle was named All-District Second Team in 2005 and Calvin Cage was named All-District First Team last season.

Idbihi was one of only two players in the MAC to be named to the All-District Team. Romeo Travis of Akron was named to the NABC All-District 10 Second Team.
