Turner Battle

BUFFALO, NY ­ Turner Battle (Kernersville, NC/East Forsyth) was named to the 2003-04 College Sports Information Director's of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District I University Division Men's Basketball Team. He will now be placed on the national ballot for a chance at garnering Academic All-America honors, which will be announced on March 4.

This season, Battle leads the Bulls averaging 14.3 points, 3.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game. He has started all 23 games and has helped lead the Bulls to a 12-11 record. He has led the Bulls in scoring on nine different occasions this season.

A communication major, Battle sports a 3.47 grade point average. He was the only player in the conference to be named to both the All-MAC and Academic All-MAC squads following the 2002-03 season.

Buffalo will host Kent State on Wednesday night in search of its fourth straight win. Tip-off is slated for 7 pm.
