Ohio Dominates UBBUFFALO, NY - Ohio University came out strong to start the game and never looked back, defeating the Bulls men's basketball team 82-62 Wednesday night in front of 713 fans at Alumni Arena. The game was foul-plagued the whole way with a total of 52 personal fouls and a combined 68 free-throw attempts by the two teams. The Bobcats jumped out to a quick lead, using an 11-3 run in the first four minutes of the game to take control. The Bulls came back, using a 5-0 run to close the gap to three points, 11-8, with 14:06 to play. All five UB points in that run were scored by Damien Foster (Buffalo, NY/Traditional), who hit a three pointer and converted two free throws. With UB trailing by just six, 29-23, with 5:25 to go in the half, Ohio went on a 14-1 run, extending their lead to 19 points, 43-24, with under two minutes to play. The Bulls last field goal of the first half came at the 5:25 mark, hitting five free throws over that span. In the second half, Ohio maintained their lead, extending it to 24 points, 67-43, at the 9:24 mark on a layup by Brandon Hunter. The closest the Bulls would get the rest of the game was 18 points on a layup by Foster with six minutes to play, making it a 67-49 game, but the Bobcats then cruised to an 82-62 win. rebounds, four assists and three steals. Ohio (17-12, 10-7) was led by
Sanjay Adell with a game-high 22 points and Steve Esterkamp had 16 points for
