Turner Battle Named to NABC Division I All-District Team
Senior point guard earns second team honors
 | | Turner Battle | OVERLAND PARK, KS - Turner Battle (Kernersville, NC/East Forsyth) has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division I All-District Second Team. He is one of 150 student-athletes, from 15 districts, now eligible for the NABC Division I All-American Team to be announced at the conclusion of the 2004-05 season.
This season, Battle is averaging 15.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He has started 23 of 24 games and has helped lead the Bulls to a 17-7 record. He has been selected as the Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week three times this season and the MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week twice this season.
Battle was one of five Mid-American Conference players to earn All-District honors. Danny Horace and Chet Mason of Miami, Bowling Green's Josh Almanson and Toledo's Keith Triplett were all named to the NABC All-District 10 Second Team.
