Calvin Cage Named to NABC Division I All-District Team

Only player in the MAC to earn first-team honors

KANSAS CITY, KS - Calvin Cage (Capitol Heights, MD/Bladensburg) has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division I All-District First Team. He is one of 150 student-athletes, from 15 districts, now eligible for the NABC Division I All-American Team to be announced at the conclusion of the 2005-06 season.

Cage is averaging a team-best 17.8 points to go along with 3.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. The senior guard leads the Bulls and ranks second in the Mid-American Conference with 74 three-pointers. He has played in all 26 games this season and has helped lead the Bulls to a 16-10 record.

Cage was the only player in the Mid-American to earn first-team honors. Jay Youngblood of Kent State and Romeo Travis of Akron were named to the NABC All-District 10 Second Team.
