BUFFALO, NY ­ The University at Buffalo athletic department is hoping to unleash a "Sea of Blue" on visiting Kent State University when the UB men's basketball team takes on the rival Golden Flashes on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at Alumni Arena. Game time is set for 7 pm.

With an incredible array of student giveaways on tap, the Bulls will get ready to take on the MAC-leading Golden Flashes with all fans encouraged to wear Royal Blue to the game to support the Bulls who are seeking to earn a first-round home playoff game for the first time in their six seasons in the Mid-American Conference.

Students coming to the game will be getting a gift bag full of goodies for their support throughout the season. Included will be free items from UB corporate sponsors like Wendy's, Tim Horton's, Key Bank, Mighty Taco, Tops Friendly Markets, Domino's Pizza, Aeropostale, The College Store, Regal Cinemas, the Student Association and Montana's Cookhouse.

In addition, a couple lucky fans will win an authentic autographed men's basketball jersey and a basketball signed by the entire team.

"When we played at Kent State earlier this month, it was one of the loudest gyms I've ever been in," said head coach Reggie Witherspoon. "Now we're looking to get that same sort of support from our students and fans, whose energy level this year has meant so much to our team. I hope our fans can help create a 'Sea of Blue' and a wave of noise to help us to victory."
