BUFFALO, NY - At last, the Bulls will get their chance to avenge last year’s crushing home loss to Central Michigan as the Chippewas invade Alumni Arena on Saturday night in the midst of a three-game losing streak. The contest is both teams’ final cross-conference match-up before beginning the second half of their respective league division seasons.

Buffalo is coming off a 79-73 loss at Ball State in which four Bulls scored in double figures. Leading the way was sophomore guard Andy Robinson (Schenectady, NY/Schenectady) with 14 as Parnell Smith (Indianapolis, IN/Pike) and Greg Gamble (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) each added 11 and senior Yassin Idbihi (Tangier, Morocco/Schloss Hagerhof) chipped in with 13 to go along with 14 rebounds, five assists and a career-high five blocked shots.

Central Michigan is coming off a loss at Akron, 78-71. Despite the loss, the Chippewas shot 59 percent from the field and had three players of their own in double-figures. Junior Giordan Watson scored 19 points, while freshman Jordan Blitzer and senior Sefton Barrett added 17 and 14, respectively.

Buffalo will welcome Central Michigan as the first of three straight games in front of their beloved Mighty Maniacs, where they are 6-4 on the season (2-2 MAC). Central Michigan has actually been better on the road this year, going 2-3 in the MAC while dropping four of its five home conference games. With the MAC regular season already more than half over, Buffalo is looking for a solid win to begin what hopes to be a triumphant home stretch before heading to Cleveland for the conference tournament.

Tip-off is slated for 7 pm. The game can be heard locally on WWKB 1520 AM or online at www.buffalobulls.com.
