Bulls BracketBuster Game To Air On ESPN360BUFFALO, NY - For the second consecutive season, fans from across the nation will get to witness University at Buffalo men's basketball during ESPN's BracketBuster presented by eBay. The Bulls will travel to Iona for a noon matchup on Saturday, February 18 that will air nationally on ESPN360. ESPN360 is ESPN's customized broadband service, which provides users with live games, highlights and inside analysis from ESPN commentators.
“This is an exciting announcement for the MAC, and another step forward in ESPN’s development of the BracketBuster event,” said MAC Commissioner Rick Chryst. "The University at Buffalo is a leader in technology, and it will be a fun Saturday as the future of television airs Buffalo basketball.” Doug Sherman and Rob Kennedy will call all the action during the sixth all-time meeting between these two teams. Buffalo will be playing in its third straight road game during the annual BracketBuster event. “We are thrilled to be part of the BracketBuster this year and look forward to working with Buffalo and Iona on this exclusive match-up,” commented Len Mead, Director of New Media Content for ESPN. “ESPN360 sets a new standard for live events available on broadband and our relationship with conferences like the MAC and MAAC allow us to give college basketball fans across the country more games than ever before.” The game will also be available to students and faculty members on both the Buffalo and Iona campuses. ESPN360 will work with both schools to provide a link through their athletic websites which will allow fans to view the game. The Bulls are one of four Mid-American Conference teams to have their BracketBuster games televised on the ESPN Networks. |
