BUFFALO, NY - Following its third-straight loss, Buffalo will travel to Michigan for a two-game road swing against cross-conference opponents Eastern and Western Michigan. The Bulls look to turn the tide as they have lost five of their last six games, including two of three at home. The losses dropped the team below .500 for the first time since the beginning of the 2004-05 season when the Bulls started the season 0-1.

The road swing begins in Ypsilanti, where Buffalo will invade Eastern Michigan and the home of the Eagles. Both teams are trying to snap three-game losing streaks.

Buffalo senior Yassin Idbihi (Tangier, Morocco/Schloss Hagerhof) looks to record his eighth double-double of the season just a game after surpassing Calvin Cage as the Bulls’ eighth leading scorer all-time. Idbihi, along with sophomore Andy Robinson (Schenectady, NY/Schenectady) and freshman Max Boudreau (Montreal, Quebec/Champlain-St. Lambert), scored in double-figures versus Toledo with 14, 15 and 11, respectively. Coming off just his second career start, the Canadian freshman, Boudreau, had his best outing as a Bull, recording his 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting to go along with six rebounds. Eric Moore (Dover, NJ/St. Benedict's Prep) will look to regain his stroke after a four-point performance on Wednesday. The sophomore guard is averaging 13.3 points per game on the season, as one of two UB players averaging double figures in points, alongside Idbihi at 15.4.

Buffalo’s aggressive perimeter defense will look to shut down Eastern Michigan’s Devon Dumes who is coming off a career-high 19 points as he went 5-for-11 from three-point range versus Ohio. Brandon Bowdry, another freshman, displayed a presence inside, recording 13 points while hauling in eight rebounds in Wednesday’s loss. The Eagles also boast two players who average double-digit points, in Carlos Medlock with 12.5 and Jesse Bunkley with just over 11 points per contest.

One team will snap a three-game slide on Sunday while the other drops a fourth straight. The Bulls are 2-6 on the road this season, but have yet to win a road MAC game (0-3). Eastern Michigan is 5-3 at home this year with a 1-2 home conference record. As both teams score right around 64 points per game (UB-64.2, EMU-63.7), the game may come down to the free throw line where Eastern Michigan holds a very slight advantage at 71 percent over Buffalo at 69 percent. The Eagles, however, shot just 40 percent from the charity stripe Wednesday against Ohio. Buffalo, the leading rebounding team in the MAC with over 37 per game, collects nearly six more rebounds per game than Eastern Michigan at 31.7.

Tip-off is slated for 7:00 pm. The game can be heard locally on WWKB 1520 AM or on the web at www.buffalobulls.com.
