BUFFALO, NY - After last season's dramatic Mid-American Conference final in which Ohio's Leon Williams tipped the ball in with 0.5 seconds left to beat the University at Buffalo's men's basketball team, 80-79, the two teams have carried the momentum over into the next season, with both clubs off to great starts.

The teams will get a chance to show off the budding rivalry on regional television in Thursday night's 8:00 pm game, as Fox Sports Ohio will broadcast the game live.

Ohio (12-3 overall, 6-1 MAC) is still looking to Williams, who is second on the team with 11.9 points per game and 7.9 rebounds, as well as a balanced scoring attack that includes four players averaging more than nine points per game.

Buffalo (14-4 overall, 4-3 MAC) is led by senior Calvin Cage (Capitol Heights, MD/Bladensburg), who crossed the 1,000-point career mark last Wednesday against Ball State. He is averaging 18.5 points per game and 3.3 assists.
