The Bulls are unbeaten at 3-0 in Mid-Continent Conference play after sweeping a pair of Mid-Con schools over the weekend. On Friday (12/5), UB downed Northeastern Illinois 70-59 behind 22 points from Young on 6-of-12 shooting (50%), including 10-of-11 from the free throw line. Senior Mike Martinho (Rahway, NJ/Union Catholic) added 11 points, while sophomore Jon Kleidon (Oak Park, IL/Oak Park-River Forest) scored a season-high 10 points and six rebounds.

On Saturday (12/6), UB needed overtime to get past Chicago State 90-83. Rasaun Young again terrorized the opposing defense, scoring 27 points on 8-of-13 shooting (61.5%), 21 points of which were scored in the second and overtime periods. Junior Robert Harris (New Rochelle, NY/Archbishop Stepinac) scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds off the bench, while Martinho added 16 points. Nursing a 79-77 lead with 1:05 leftt o play in regulation, the Cougars' Demon Payton connected on a jumper to tie the score and send the game to overtime. In the extra period, the Bulls jumped out to a quick 83-79 lead and held on for the 90-83 victory,

The are next in action on Saturday (12/13) when they fave Big Four rival St. Bonaventure in Olean, NY at 7:30 pm. UB's next home matchup is on Sunday (12/21) when they face conference-foe Northeastern Illinois at 1:00 pm in Alumni Arena.
