Vogtli, a member of the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team since 1996, has twice been on the U.S. World Championship team and competed for the American team at the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City last winter. She has ranked as high as 11th in the world, after the 2000 season, and was ranked fourth among U.S. freestyle skiers after last season. The Western New York native has also competed in the Goodwill Games and placed as high as third in a World Cup event held at Lake Placid last year.
